Hydrodynamic Equation for a Deposition Model

چکیده
We show that the two-component system of hyperbolic conservation laws ∂tρ + ∂x(ρu) = 0 = ∂tu + ∂xρ appears naturally in the formally computed hydrodynamic limit of some randomly growing interface models, and we study some properties of this system.

A Novel Method for Mitigation of Asphaltene Deposition in the Wellstring
Asphaltene precipitation and deposition is a serious problem in many Iranian fields. The deposited asphaltene results in partial or total blockage of the wellbore and wellstring reducing or completely seizing oil production. This paper studies the asphaltene problem and mitigation methods in wellstring systematically. It presents new approach based on the combination of thermodynam...
متن کاملHydrodynamic Studies of Fluidized Bed Chemical Vapor Deposition Reactors to Produce Carbon Nano Tubes via Catalytic Decomposition over Co/Pd MgO
The hydrodynamic studies of fluidized bed reactor has been reported in terms of pressure drop, minimum fluidization velocity and bed volume expansion to contribute to the optimization of the CNTs production parameters in fluidized bed reactors. Minimum fluidization velocity and pressure drop, as the most important parameters, were taken into account for the investigation of the hydrodynamic beh...

A two-dimensional two-phase numerical model is developed to predict transport and fate of oil slicks which resulted the concentration distribution of oil on the water surface. Two dimensional governing equation of fluid flow which consists mass and momentum conservation was solved using the finite difference method on the structured staggered grid system. The resulted algebric equations were so...
متن کاملImplication of Quantum Effects on Non-Linear Propagation of Electron Plasma Solitons
We have studied the electron exchange-correlation effect on thecharacteristics of the two-component unmagnetized dense quantum plasma withstreaming motion. For this purpose, we have used the quantum hydrodynamic model(including the effects of a quantum statistical Fermi electron temperature) for studyingthe propagation of an electrostatic electron plasma waves in such th...
متن کاملA hybrid model of laser energy deposition for multi-dimensional simulations of plasmas and metals
The hybrid model of laser energy deposition is a combination of the geometrical-optics ray-tracing method with the one-dimensional (1D) solution of the Helmholtz wave equation in regions where the geometrical optics becomes inapplicable. We propose an improved version of this model, where a new physically consistent criterion for transition to the 1D wave optics is derived, and a special rescal...
